Lecon is excited to be part of the Improving and Developing Urban Residual Spaces in Dammam project, a key initiative focused on revitalizing underutilized urban spaces into vibrant, functional areas that enhance the quality of life for residents. The project aims to address infrastructure challenges, expand recreational spaces, and create public areas that promote social interaction and community engagement. By rethinking the urban landscape, we are ensuring that Dammam’s growing population has access to sustainable, modern spaces that improve daily living and contribute to the city’s development.
The South of Dammam was facing issues of underutilized urban spaces with inadequate infrastructure, limited recreational areas, and insufficient public amenities. These areas were not meeting the needs of the growing population and lacked spaces for social interaction and community activities.
The project aims to transform Dammam’s underdeveloped areas into vibrant, functional urban spaces. This includes creating green areas, recreational spaces, and improving the infrastructure to accommodate the community’s needs. With improved roads, public facilities, and enhanced environmental design, the area will be more livable and accessible for residents.
